Arena Season 9 und Rated Battleground Loots und Ausrüstung – Das Vicious Gladiator Set

Da mit dem aktuellen Cataclysm Beta-Build auch die ersten Arena Season 9 Ausrüstungsgegenstände und Screenshots aufgetaucht sind, dürfte die Frage geklärt sein, wann die Arena Season 9 denn nun starten wird. Denn Zwischenzeitlich ging ja das Gerücht rum, dass noch eine weitere Arena Season in WotLK zur Zeitüberbrückung starten wird. Fehlanzeige. Arena Season 9 wird erst in Cataclysm starten, wahrscheinlich wie gewohnt, ein paar Wochen nach dem eigentlichen Release. Neu hierbei ist, dass man das Vicious Gladiator Set, so wie das Arena Season 9 Set heißen wird, nicht nur noch über die Arena bekommen kann. Ebenso kann man sich das komplette Set über die Rated Battlegrounds, die gewerteten Schlachtfelder, erspielen. Das wirft die spannende Frage auf, ob die Arena noch so populär wie zuletzt bleiben wird. Denn viele haben die Arena nicht betreten, weil ihnen der E-Sports Aspekt Spaß gemacht hat, sondern nur, weil es das beste PvP-Gear zu erbeuten gab. Ich denke, dass sich hier einige Spieler von der E-Sports Arena wieder distanzieren werden, wenn es das gleiche Gear nun auch über die Schlachtfelder zu erbeuten gibt.

Eines sollte aber den Spielern zu Beginn der Arena Season 9 gleich bewusst sein: Die Klassen sind noch in keinster Weise fürs PVP gebalanct. Blizzard hat alle Hände voll damit zu tun, die Klassen annähernd auf ein Niveau für den PvE-Content zu bringen. Feintuning im PvP darf man erst während Season 9 oder danach erwarten. Bis dahin wird es wieder FotM Klassen und Combos en masse geben. So, genung geschrieben, schaut Euch die Vicious Gladiator Ausrüstung am besten selber an:
